Pereira Travel Guide
Plan your trip to Pereira - the commercial heart of Colombia's coffee region, gateway to Salento and Manizales, with thermal springs and paragliding nearby.
Pereira is the largest city in Colombia’s coffee region and its most practical transport hub. It is not the most scenic city - that distinction goes to nearby Salento and Manizales - but Pereira’s airport, bus connections, and commercial infrastructure make it the natural entry point for anyone exploring the Eje Cafetero (Coffee Axis). Most travellers pass through quickly; those who stay find a city with genuine warmth, excellent food, and easy access to the surrounding mountains.
