Colombia's Coffee Region

Colombia produces some of the world's most celebrated arabica coffee, and the Eje Cafetero (Coffee Triangle) is where it all happens. The departments of Quindio, Risaralda, and Caldas form a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of rolling green hills, traditional fincas, and small towns that have built their identity around coffee production.

Salento is the most popular base for travellers, with direct access to the Cocora Valley and its towering wax palms. Manizales, Pereira, and Armenia serve as regional gateways with their own distinct characters. Most visitors combine coffee farm tours, valley hikes, and a few nights in a traditional hacienda.
